As part of the celebrations for the centenary of Bernstein’s birth, Southbank Centre staged his Mass at the Royal Festival Hall in April 2018. Suzi auditioned, directed and trained the choruses and treble soloists for this work, preparing them for the performances.
Suzi trained and led an unauditioned group of local children who formed the Voicelab Children’s Choir for this performance of Britten’s epic War Requiem, conducted by Marin Alsop. This ambitious project won the 2015 Royal Philharmonic Society award for Learning and Participation.
